Abstract
El invento se refiere a una disposición de conmutación de dos vías para comunicaciones que utilizan una única plataforma elevada y a un método paraconmutar canales de comunicación mediante dicha plataforma. Los sistemas de comunicaciones ópticas instalados en una plataforma elevada (por ejemplo, unsatélite, una torre, u otra plataforma provista de un punto sustancialmente ventajoso) utilizan múltiples haces de transmisión y recepción, espacialmentediversos, que están ópticamente entrelazados de modo de reutilizar por completo el espectro. La plataforma elevada reutiliza su ancho de banda asignado en cadauno de N múltiples haces (o sectores).Los haces están formados por medios de RF u ópticos, los usuarios específicos en cada unode los haces, son seguidamenteseparados espacialmente en frecuencia mediante la utilización de una Célula de Bragg óptica.Las senales, separadas, son seguidamente duplicadas medianteun medio espejo y un espejo completo, y recombinadas ópticamente,de modo de crear salidas que son combinaciones únicas de frecuencia de cada uno de losconjuntos completos de haces ingresados. Las senales, recombinadas,son entonces desplazadas a la banda de transmisión y retransmitidas a través de los mismos(N)haces múltiples.
