Abstract

Se trata de un látex artificial, formador de películas a temperatura ambiente, que comprende un copolímero de alfa-olefina (C3-C20), exentos degrupos polares y que además posee: a) una pared de distribución aleatoria de las unidadescomonom éricas a lo largo de la estructura de base del copolímero yun índice de homogeneidad de al menos 75; b) un índice de polidispersidad de aproximadamente 1.5 a aproximadamente 2.5; c) una I10/I2 de cuando menos 6; d)un índice de desgarrecrítico al establecerse una fractura de fusión superficial de cuando menos el 50 % mayor que el índice de desgarre crítico alestablecimiento de fractura de fusión superficial de un polímero de olefina lineal que tenga la misma I2 eíndice de poli dispersidad; e) un peso molecularpromedio en peso de cuando menos 45,000; y f) una densidad de aproximadamente 0.85 a aproximadamente 0.9 g/cm3.
