Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para fabricar cuerpos moldeados a partir de partículas pre-espumadas de poliolefina. A partir departículas pre-espumadas de poliolefina se pretende fabricar piezas moldeadas que presenten lamín ima densidad posible. Lo antedicho se logra mediante elprocedimiento inventivo, en el cual se usan partículas de poliolefina contraídas a 30 hasta 95% de su volumen inicial,que son a continuación tratadasdurante un tiempo suficiente auna t emperatura que se encuentra al menos 20°C por debajo de la temperatura de ablandamiento con un gas inerte bajo unasobrepresión de 0,2 a 10 bar, siendo cargadas las partículas en un molde, manteniendo sustancialmente su presióninterior, y sie ndo las mismas espumadas.Los campos de aplicación de piezas moldeadas de densidad muy reducida producidas mediante el procedimiento inventivo son, entre otros, el sector deembalaje y el tapizado blando de interiores dehabitáculos de vehícu los.
