Abstract
Se describe un tratamiento para aliviar o combatir la tensión en una planta antes de la cosecha en el cual se aplica una cantidad efectiva deosmorregulador a la misma en un momento predeterminado de forma tal que se reduzcan las manchas o danosen la piel de la planta. El tratamiento puede seraplicado a distintas plantas tales como peras, duraznos, cerezas y frutales similares. Un osmorregulador preferido es glicina betaína, en tanto la dosisconveniente es de hasta 20.000 ppm en unasol ución acuosa con o sin otros aditivos. El osmorregulador se aplica a las plantas rociando sus hojas.
