Abstract
Se propone un convertidor para bajar escalonadamente una entrada de potencia de corriente continua para producir una salida de potencia decorriente continua de voltaje más bajo. El convertidor incluye una unidad reguladora y en serieco n ésta un resistor de entrada. En uso, el resistorseparado desde la unidad reguladora es montado en el cuerpo de una pieza de maquinaria, de modo que el calor producido dentro de él es transmitido a esamaquinaria y no interfiere con laoperación de la unidad reguladora. La unidad reguladora emplea un circuito de conversión lineal que produce una salida decorriente continua estable pero, diferentemente de los convertidores convencionales c.c.-c.c., no generasubstancialmente ningú n campoelectromagnético parásito.
