Abstract

Un cebo líquido para insectos caracterizado porque comprende una mezcla de a. sorbitol disuelto en una cantidad de agua suficiente para formar unportador acuoso líquido, estando el sorbitol disuelto en una concentración suficientemente grandep ara ser efectiva como humectante para retardar elsecado del portador líquido y suficientemente pequena para que el portador líquido permanezca líquido al agregar cualquier atrayente u otros ingredientesdel cebo líquido, y b. por lo menos unatra yente de insectos disuelto, disperso, suspendido, o emulsionado en el portador líquido en una cantidadefectiva para atraer insectos, y opcionalmente c. un ingrediente activo para el control de insectos en una cantidad efectiva paracontrolar los insectos.También se da a conocer un método para atraer insectos por medio de dicho cebo.
