Abstract
Se descibre un método y aparato nuevo y mejorado para codificar datos de codificación de predicción lineal LPC en un sistema de compresión de vozutilizando raíces cuadradas de línea espectral. Se describe un procedimiento nuevo ycomputacionalm ente eficiente para determinar la serie de sensibilidadesde cuantificación para los valores de raíz cuadrada de línea espectral, que resulta en una medida de error para utilizar en la cuantificación del vector delos valores deraíz cuadrada de lí nea espectral. Se describe un método nuevo de pesar el error de cuantificación, el cual acumula el error de cuantificación encada valor de raíz cuadrada de línea espectral y pesa ese error por la sensibilidad de esevalor de raíz cuadrada de línea espectral.
