Abstract

Se proporciona una red de comunicación celular mejorada que está dividida en una pluralidad de celdas. Cada una de las celdas que incluye una estaciónbase posee por lo menos dos antenas direccionales, cada una de las cuales es operativa para comunicarse con una pluralidad de unidades. Cada una de lasantenas está dirigida en una dirección diferente y opera en una banda de frecuencia distinta. Una característica de la red celular es que las antenas,en las celdas adyacentes, que operanen bandas de frecuencia similares están dirigidas en direcciones diferentes.
