Abstract

Se describe un proceso y una instalación para la separación de un gas que contiene hidrocarburos, y particularmente metano, componentes de C2,componentes de C3 y componentes hidrocarburos más pesados. La corriente se divide en primera ysegund a corrientes. La primera corriente es enfriada paracondensarla sustancialmente en su totalidad y luego es expandida a la presión de la torre de fraccionamiento y provista a la torre de fraccionamiento en unaprimera posición de alimentacióna mitad de columna. La segunda corriente se expande a la presión de la torre y luego es aportada a la columna en unasegunda posición de alimentación a mitad de columna. La corriente de reciclaje es retirada de la parte superior de la torre unavez calent ada y comprimida. Lacorriente de reciclaje comprimida es enfriada lo suficiente para condensarla sustancialmente, y luego es expandida a la presión de la columna de destilacióny provista a la columna en una posición de alimentaciónsuperior. La pr esión de la corriente de reciclaje comprimida y las cantidades y temperaturas de lasalimentaciones a la columna son efectivas para mantener la temperatura de evaporación de la columna a un nivel en el cual la porción másimportante delos comp onentes deseados se pueda recuperar.
