Abstract
Se refiere a derivados de xanteno y acridina, de formula general (I) y sus sales, en donde W es hidrogeno o alquilo inferior; X es alquilo inferior;Y es un átomo de oxígeno o NR1; R1 es hidrogeno, alquilo inferior, alcoxicarboniloi nferior o alcoxicarbonilo inferior-alquilo; Z es arilo oo heteroarilo opcionalmente sustituido con uno o más substituyentes halogeno, ciano, nitro, alquilo inferior, halogeno-alquilo inferior, alcoxilo inferiorhalogeno-alcoxilo inferior, COR2,OCOR 2, CO2R2, OR2, S(O)nR2, NR2R3, N(R4)COR5, AR, Ar-alquilo inferior, Het o Het-alquilo inferior, y/o en átomos de carbonoadyacentes con alquilendioxilo inferior; R2, R3, R4 y R5 son cada uno individualmente substituyentes hidrogeno,alquilo i nferior, Ar, Ar-alquiloinferior, Het o Het-alquilo inferior, o R2 y R3 juntos son el grupo -CH=CH-CH=CH- o -CH=N-CH=CH-; Ar es arilo opcionalmente substituido conuno o más substituyentes halogeno, alquilo inferior, alcoxiloinferior o o nitro; Het es heteroarilo opcionalmente substituido con uno o mássustituyentes halogeno, alquilo inferior, alcoxilo inferior o nitro; y n es 0, 1 o 2, que son inhibidores de la timidina quinasa del virus del herpessimplex ypueden emplea rse en el tratamiento y profilaxis de infecciones causadas por el virus del herpes simplex. Se refiere además a un procedimientopara la preparacion de dichos derivados y a medicamentos que los contienen.
