Abstract

Un compuesto derivado de AVG que comprende el N-acetil AVG que tiene la estructura (I) o un éster, prodroga, o sal del mismo, el cual inhibe laproduccion de etileno en plantas. Además, se describen formulaciones para inhibir la biosíntesisde etileno que comprenden el compuesto (I), así comométodos para aplicar formulaciones que comprenden compuesto (I) a las plantas y para preparar el ácido L-trans-2-amino-4-(2-acetamido etoxi)-3-butenoico o un éster prodroga o una sal delm ismo.
