Un dispositivo para comunicarse con una base de datos portátil utilizando al menos una senal de alimentación (AL) provista por una fuente de energíaeléctrica (4), una senal de comando (SC1), y una senal de transmición de datos (I/O),caracterizado porque comprende: medios (5) para interrumpir la provisiónde la senal de alimentación (AL) a la base partiendo de la fuente si esta no coopera con el dispositivo (1): medios (8) para almacenar energía eléctricarecibida de la fuentey proveer dich a senal de alimentación a la base cuando la fuente ya no la provee; medios de procesamiento de la información (3)dispuestos para asegurar una transmisión de dichas senales (AL, SC1), I/O) a la base de acuerdo con una secuenciaciónpredeterminada, así como para detectar lainterrrupción de la provisión de las senal de alimentación (AL) partiendo de la fuente, luego iniciar la interrupción de las otras senales (SC1), I/O) segúndicha secuenciación predeterminada durante laprovisión de la senal de alimentación partiendo de los medios de almacenamiento de energía.
