Abstract
Un sello para puerta de hornos que comprende una junta sellante tubular entrelazada de alambre y una fibra mineral, tal como fibra de vidrio, unacerámica o cuarzo o mezcla de los mismos. La junta sellante tiene una estructuraentrelazad a de expansión radial frente a una compresión axial y decontracción radial frente a una extensión axial. Se proveen grapas de alambre elástico que están predobladas en un plano de manera de tener una cabeza enforma de vértice que estáformada cerca del punto medio del alambre, secciones paralelas intermedias y secciones extremas entrecruzadas. Lasgrapas se insertan dentro de la junta sellante con sus extremos entrecruzados que abren uno o más filamentos en laestructura reticulada de la junta desellado tubular trenzada y los extremos entrecruzados pasan a través de la estructura de pared y están deflectados generalmente en forma paralela conrespecto a la pared medida que las secciones de alambre dela grapa en el d oblez de vértice se flexionan en conjunto. Las aberturas están formadas en elperímetro de la puerta del horno a diferentes espaciamientos dependiendo del diámetro deseado para la junta sellante a lo largo del borde quetiene unespaciamiento partic ular y la grapa se inserta en espaciamientos iguales en una puerta de horno. La junta sellante instalada puede tener un diámetro másgrande a lo largo del lado más remoto de la puerta teniendo en cuenta el espaciamientovariable de las abertura s.
