Abstract

En un codificador CELP se ha hecho una comparación entre una senal de objetivo y una pluralidad de senal de síntesis. La senal de síntesis esderivada filtrando una pluralidad de secuencias de excitación desde un libro de códigos dimensionalpor un filtro de síntesis teniendo parámetros derivados dela senal de objetivo. Se selecciona la senal de excitación que resulta en un error mínimo entre la senal de objetivo y la senal de síntesis. La búsqueda dela mejor senal de excitaciónrequiere una complejidad de computadora considerable. Para reducir la complejidad se hace una preselección de un númeropequeno de secuencias de excitación seleccionando solo cada Lth entrada de libro de código para preseleccionar unapluralid ad de secuencias de excitación.Se ha hecho con este número pequeno de secuencias de excitación una búsqueda de complejidad completa en que todas las secuencias de excitación que circundanlas preseleccionadas se encuentran involucradas enla selecc ión.
