Abstract
Un elemento magnético discreto en forma de cinta, un método para hacerlo, un marcador que lo incluye y disposición de vigilancia electrónica de artículospara detectar la presencia de dicho marcador, donde el elemento magnético está formado de un metaloide amorfo que ha sido recocido de manera de ser por lomenos parcialmente cristalizado mientras que mantiene su forma substancialmente plana. El recocido es preferiblemente un procedimiento de dos etapas aplicadaspara inducir características magnéticas semi-duras en un material metálico amorfo que es magnéticamente blando en su estado moldeado. Las dos etapasincluyen una primera etapa en la cual el material es recocido por al menos una hora a una temperatura que está por debajo de unatemperatura de cristalizacióndel material. La primera etapa da como resultado una reducción en el volumen del material. La segunda etapa es llevada a cabo una temperatura que está porencima de la temperatura de cristalización y durante un tiemposuficiente como para cristalizar la totalidad del material y brindar sus propiedadesmagnéticas semi-duras. El procedimiento de recocido de dos etapas evita la deformación del material que resultaba de los procedimientos de cristalizaciónconvencionales.
