Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una célula electroquímica o apilamiento de células que comprenden dos placas extremas (7), placas bipolares (1) hechasde metal o aleación metálica, distribuidores metálicos permeables al gas (2), colectores de corriente metálicos (3), estructuras de empaquetadura (4)provistas de canales para alimentar los reactantes gaseosos y descargar el exceso de reactantes y condensados, un par de electrodos de difusión de gas (5)una membrana de intercambio iónico (6), en donde dichos colectores de corriente proporcionan un área de contactos segmentada altamente dsitribuida sobre lasuperficie del electrodo sin picos aislados y tienen una superficie extremadamente uniforme sin asperezas y, al mismo tiempo, porosa y permeable alflujo de gas.
