Abstract
Procedimiento para la regulación del contenido de alúmina del bano de una cuba de producción de aluminio por electrólisis de alúmina disuelta en una salfundida a base de criolita consiste en alternar fases de subalimentación de alúmina y fasesde sobre alimentación de alúmina en relación con un consumoteórico promedio de alúmina de la cuba en función de valores calculados a la terminación de cada ciclo i de regulación de duración T, de la resistenciapromedio R(i) medida en los bornesde la cuba, y la velocidad de evolución de esta resistencia o pendiente de resistencia P(i) de la velocidad de evoluciónde la pendiente de resistencia o curvatura C(i) y de la pendiente extrapolada PX(i)=P(i) x T, que son respectivamentecomparadas con los valores dereferencia Po, Co, y PXo, modular, de acuerdo con un algoritmo de regulación apropiado, el contenido de alúmina del ano dentro de una zona de concentraciónmuy estrecha comprendida entre 1,5% y 3,5%.
