Abstract

Microcápsulas de poliurea particularmente útiles para la aplicación foliar, son preparadas por un proceso de polimerización interfacial en quela poliurea es formada desde un diisocianato aromático y opcionalmente un poliisocianatoaromá tico que tiene 3 o más grupos isocianato, en unarelación de pesos (cuando ambos tipos de isocianatos está presente) de poliisocianato: diisocianato de aproximadamente 1:100 a aproximadamente 1:1,5en que las microcápsulas sonproducidas tenie ndo un tamano de partícula promedio desde aproximadamente 1 a 5 micrones. Como se compara con el líquidoconvencional (por ej., concentrado emulsificable) composiciones pesticidas, las microcápsulas pueden proveer unmanejo más seguro y un a carga más altade ingredientes activos, mientras que la actividad biológica es sustancialmente equivale a la de las composiciones líquidas.
