Abstract
Un procedimiento para hacer funcionar hornos de combustión o incineración (1) para materiales a quemar o incinerar tales como lodo de clarificación,basura o carbón, en el cual el material a quemar o incinerar se quema o incinera en una zonade combustión (2) del horno (1) y los gases de humosresultantes (12) se retiran a través de un espacio libre (4), que se encuentra por encima de la zona de combustión (2), caracterizado porque los gases dehumos (12) son puestos en un movimiento turbulento dentro del espacio libre (4) sin que con ello se aumente esencialmente la turbulencia en la zona decombustión (2). El procedimiento conforme al invento ofrece las ventajas de que el contenido NOx en los gases de humos se puede disminuir adicionalmente conmedidas relativamente sencillas.
