Abstract

Procedimiento para selectivamente remover contaminantes oxigenados de corrientes conteniendo principalmente hidrocarburos de entre 3 y 8 átomosde carbono que comprende una etapa de adsorción donde dichos contaminantes son adsorbidos por unadsorbente que consiste esencialmente de sílica gel auna temperatura de entre 0 y 150°C y una presión de entre 1 y 20 atms y una etapa de regeneración para remover las substancias por tratamiento térmicoen una corriente de gas inerte llevado a cabo a una temperatura de entre 100 y 200°C.
