Abstract
Un proceso para tratar el llamado desecho húmedo de origen urbano, especialmente basura alimentaria procedente de bares, comunidades y otrosestablecimientos hoteleros similares, y que se origina desde la industria alimentaria y la industria agroalimentaria, comprende las etapas de someteruna corriente continua de dicho desecho húmedo, previamente triturado, a calentamiento hasta una temperatura de pasteruización/esterilización duranteel tiempo necesario para una cocción completa, para dar una corriente continua, pastosa y húmeda, de desecho cocido y saneado, y someter lamencionada corriente continua a secado, para dar un producto que tiene un contenido en humedad de no más del 15%. Además, se da a conocer un equipo parallevar a cabo dicho proceso.
