Abstract
Un método de tratamiento de aguas ácidas de drenaje de minas o drenaje de aguas conteniendo metales, comprendiendo iones ferrosos y férricos.El método consiste en el incremento del pH del efluente ácido, hasta por lo menos 7,5 poradición de reactivos alcalinos, bajo condiciones tales quelos iones ferrosos son estables en relación a la oxidación a iones férricos, para formar un pricipitado y retirar el precipitado.
