Abstract
Proceso para controlar el tamano de las partículas de aditivo o de catalizador mezcladas con una materia prima de carga de aceite de hidrocarburopesado que contiene asfaltenos y metales y que se somete a un hidrotratamiento. Una mezclaespes a de carga constituida por una mezcla de dicho aceite dehidrocarburo pesado y partículas aditivas para inhibir la formación de coque o partículas de catalizador se hace pasar en forma ascendente a través de unazona de hidrotratamientovertical cerra da en la presencia de hidrógeno gaseoso, mientras que de la parte superior de la zona de hidrotratamiento se retiraun efluente mixto que contiene una fase gaseosa, la cual comprende hidrógeno e hidrocarburos vaporosos, así como unafase líquida que contiene hidrocarburospesados. El efluente mixto se hace pasar a través de un recipiente separador, mientras que de la parte superior del separador se retira una corrientegaseosa que contiene hidrógeno e hidrocarburos vaporosos, ydesde el fondo de l separador se retira una corriente líquida que contiene hidrocarburos pesadosy partículas del aditivo inhibidor de la formación de coque o del catalizador. Por lo menos una parte de esa corriente líquida que contienehidrocarburospesados y partícu las se hace recircular, y a la zona de hidrotratamiento se anade un aceite aromático en una cantidad suficiente como para inhibiresencialmente la adsorción de los asfaltenos sobre las superficies de las partículasy la posterior aglomeració n de las partículas de aditivo o decatalizador.
