Abstract

Método para optimizar el procesamiento de materiales, particularmente el procesamiento del algodón en una desmotadora o hilanderia textil. Se efectuanmediciones del color, el contenido de humedad y las materias extranas del algodón con sensores electrónicos en tres estaciones. En el caso de unadesmotadora, el modelo de programación dinámica utiliza información de entrada relativa a la humedad y el contenido de desperdicio, el color, elrendimiento de la hila, la longitud básica, laestructura de precios del algodón y los costos de energía para seleccionar una secuencia óptima desecado y limpieza para el algodón. El modelo de programación dinámica optimiza las ganancias de los productores de algodón seleccio nando lacantidad demaquinaria de desmotadora necesaria para lograr el valor de mercado mas beneficioso mientras, al mismo tiempo, minimiza la maquinariautilizada. Las válvulas direccionales automatizadas se utilizan para direccion ar el algodón a través de lacombinación óptima seleccionada delimpiadoras de algodón con semilla, secadoras de vías de acceso múltiples y limpiadoras de hilas. En el caso de una máquina de hilar, se usanalgoritmos para seleccionar una secuenci a óptima de maquinaria de hilarque maximiza la calidad de la hila y las válvulas direccionales automatizadas se utilizan para direccionar la hila a través de la secuencia seleccionada de limpiadoras.
