Seproveen además co mposiciones y métodos que comprenden dichos compuestos para el control de especies de plantas indeseables.Substituted pyridine compounds having structural formula (I) are provided, where A and B are each independently phenyl optionally substituted with one or more halogen atoms, nitro groups, cyano groups, amino groups, hydroxyl groups, C1-C4 alkyl groups, C1-C4 haloalkyl groups, C1-C4 alkoxy groups, C1-C4 haloalkoxy groups or C1-C4 haloalkyl sulfonyl groups, 1- or 2-naphthyl optionally substituted with one or more halogen atoms, nitro groups, non-cia groups, amino groups, hydroxyl groups , C1-C4 alkyl groups, C1-C4 haloalkyl groups, C1-C4 alkoxy groups, C1-C4 haloalkoxy groups, or C1-C4 haloalkylsulfonyl groups, or a 5- or 6-membered heteroaromatic ring containing nitrogen which is optionally substituted with one or more halogen atoms, nitro groups, amino groups, hydroxyl groups, C1-C4 alkyl groups, C1-C4 haloalkyl groups, C1-C4 alkoxy groups, C1-C4 haloalkoxy groups or C1-C4 haloalkyl groups; X and Y are each independently O or S; R is C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 haloalkyl, C1-C6 alkoxy, C1-C6 haloalkoxy, C1-C6 alkylthio or di (C1-C6 alkyl) amino; m is an integer of 0, 1 or 2, and n is an integer of 0 or 1.
