Abstract
Las benzoilguanidinas sustituidas en posición orto de la fórmula (I), en la que R(2) y R(3) independientemente uno de otro, hidrógeno, Cl, Br, I,alquilo (C1-C8), cicloalquilo (C3-C6) o -OR(5); R(5) alquilo (C1-C8) o CdH2d- cicloalquilo (C3-C6); d= cero, 1 o 2; siendo siempre uno de ambossustituyentes R(2) y R(3) hidrógeno, pero no siendo ambos sustituyentes R(2) y R(3) simultáneamente hidrógeno, así como sus sales farmacéuticamentecompatibles, son apropiadas como medicamentos antiarrítmicos con un componente cardioprotector para la profilaxis de los infartos y eltratamiento de los infartos, así como para el tratamiento de la angina de pecho. Estas inhiben también preventivamente los procesos patofisiológicos alformarselesiones inducidas isquémicamente, especialmente en la provocación de arritmias cardíacas inducidas isquémicamente.
