Abstract
Un mecanismo de seguridad protector de punta de aguja de catéter que provee protección contra inseguridad al personal clínico contra la posibilidadde punciones accidentales por agujas intravenosas (IV) usadas a través de la provisión deest ructura protectora de punta de aguja de catéter automáticaque se pone en operación al retirar la aguja del cuerpo de un paciente; se provee una disposición de punta y protección de cierre conjunto para elcatéter de seguridad, que puedeadaptarse para proveer un mecanismo de liberación del eje del catéter, y con ello la disposición de punta y proteccióndel dipositivo de inserción del catéter está constituido de una construcción integral o moldeada unitariamente, y puedetambién i ncorporar una palanca deliberación del eje del catéter, reduciendo con estructuras actuales de este tipo que son ensambladas ordinariamente a partir de una pluralidad decomponentes discretos.
