Abstract
Un método para la preparación de citalopram que comprende los pasos de hacer reaccionar un compuesto de la fórmula (IV), donde R1 es alquilo C1-C6 yX es O o NH, en forma sucesiva con un reactivo de Grignard de 4 halógeno- fluorfenilo, porlo cual se obtiene un compuesto de fórmula (IVa), donde R1y X son según se define precedentemente, y un reactivo de Grignard de 3-halógeno-N,N-dimetil-propilamina, efectuar el cierre de anillos del compuestoresultante de fórmula (V).
