Un producto masticable confitado con un centro y una cobertura externa donde: a) dicho centro comprende una composición de goma de mascar con unabase de goma de mascar, un edulcorante, un suavizante y un saborizante; y b) dicha cobertura externa comprende una composición blanda confitada con unedulcorante, agente de flexibilización y un contenido graso de 0 al 7% en peso de dicha composición. Además proporciona métodos para la preparación de dichoproducto masticable confitado.
