Abstract

Un proceso para recuperar el componente de proteínas, el componente graso y el agua de un material flotante producido por un sistema de tratamiento deaguas residuales, donde el componente proteico y el componente graso pueden ser ulteriormenteprocesados a los efectos de su inclusión en diferentesproductos, tales como alimentos animales. El componente de agua recuperado también se puede procesar ulteriormente antes de descargarlo en un sistemacloacal. El proceso se puede definir comointegrado por los pasos de calentar un material portador hasta una temperatura inferior 99°C, formar una mezclade tratamiento mezclando el material portador y el material flotante y separar la mezcla de tratamiento en componente proteico,una fase de componentede grasa y una fase de componente de agua. En forma alternativa, el componente graso o el componente de agua se puede reciclar en este proceso, a fin debrindar mayor eficiencia. En una forma preferida del proceso la proporciónde material flotante respecto del material portador es de entre aproximadamente1:1 y aproximadamente 1:20. El material portador puede ser agua o más preferentemente, un líquido inmiscible al agua, compatible con el componentegraso del material flotante; por ejemplo, el portador puede incluir un material oleaginoso, que incluya preferentemente un aceite natural.
