Abstract

Implante para ser implantado en tejido óseo que presenta una superficie exterior que incluye un cuerpo alargado y por lo menos una nervadura de rosca.El cuerpo alargado tiene una porción de extremo proximal que se ubica cerca de la superficieex terior del tejido óseo, un eje central y una superficieexterior. Visto en un corte transversal, el cuerpo alargado tiene una sección transversal no circular. La sección transversal no circular incluye múltipleslóbulos y múltiples alojamientos.Cad a uno de estos alojamientos está dispuesto entre lóbulos contiguos de la pluralidad de lóbulos. La nervadura se extienderadialmente hacia afuera con respecto al eje central desde la superficie externa del cuerpo alargado entre la porciónde ex tremo distal y la porción deextremo proximal. Cuando el implante se atornilla en el tejido óseo, solamente los lóbulos del cuerpo elongado se traban con el tejido óseo. Como no existecontacto entre los alojamientos y el tejido óseo, se reduceel par torsor requerido para insertar el implante.
