Abstract
Una formulación de hormona para crecimiento animal de liberación sostenida, y un procedimiento para la preparación de la misma, donde la formulacióncomprende una tableta o píldora que contiene una hormona de crecimiento animal y un excipiente,estan do la tableta recubierta por una película de un polímerobiodegradable y un poloxámero, y dicho procedimiento comprende la producción de dichas tabletas sólidas mediante la mezcla de la hormona de crecimiento animaly un excipiente de acuerdocon un mé todo directo de formación de tabletas y una etapa para recubrir las tabletas con dicha película. La formulación asíobtenida presenta una pequena liberación inicial de droga y muestra un efecto uniforme y contínuo cuando es suministrada.La figura 1 muestra las curvas de compensación de la disolución de somatotropina entre las píldoras recubiertas de la presente invención y quellos sin recubrimiento.
