Abstract
Una composición para inhibir la adhesión de bacterias a una superficie sumergible y controlar las incrustaciones biológicas de un sistema acuoso, quecomprende al menos un fluorsurfactante aniónico o no iónico en una cantidad efectiva para inhibir la adhesión de bacterias a superficies sumergibles osumergidas. El fluorsurfactante se selecciona a partir de RfCH2CH2SCH2CH2CO2Li, (RfCH2CH2O)P(O)(ONH4)2, (RfCH2CH2O)2P(O)(ONH4), (Rf2CH2CH2O)P(O)(OH2)2,(RfCH2CH2O)2P(O)(OH), RfCH2CH2O(CH2CH2O)xH, RfCH2CH2O(CH2O)yH, RfCH2CH2SO3H, o mezclas de los mismos, en donde Rf es F(CF2CF2)3-8, x varía de 2-20 e y varíade 2-20. Además se dan a conocer un método para inhibir la adhesión de bacterias a una superficie sumergible que comprende contactar la superficiesumergible con dicha composición, y un método para controlar las incrustaciones biológicas de un sistema acuoso que comprende agregar dichacomposición al sistema acuoso a fin de reducir substancialmente cualquierincrustación biológica existente en dicho sistema. Este método controla demanera efectiva las incrustaciones biológicas sin exterminar substancialmente a los organismos bacterianos que conforman las incrustaciones.
