Abstract

Un cable superconducto (1) para alta energía con por lo menos un fase comprende un núcleo superconductor (2) en donde se encuentran alojadosnumerosos elementos (3), que son estructuralmente independientes y magnéticamentedesacopla dos, incluyendo cada uno para cada fase, un par deconductores coaxiles de fase y neutro, formados cada uno por por lo menos una capa de material superconductor, aislado eléctricamente uno de otro porinterposición de un materialdieléctrico (8). Gra cias a la distribución del material superconductor en varios elementos conductores coaxiales (3), elcable (1) permite transmitir cantidades elevadas de corriente en condiciones de superconductividad, mientras se usa unmaterial superconductor de altatemperatura sensible al campo magnético. Se refiere también a un método para transmitir por dicho cable superconductor una cantidad de corriente mayor queun valor prefijado.
