Abstract

603096 Disclosed is A crate (100) comprising a bottom (110) and two respective pairwise opposing side walls (120) and two respective pairwise opposing end walls (130). The bottom of the crate is arch-shaped, curving towards the interior of the crate. The bottom comprises a plurality of rectangular vent openings (see 210 & 220, figure 2), arranged along a central longitudinal axis parallel to the side walls. The crate is able to accommodate protruding product from a crate stacked underneath, while also providing ventilation for that protruding product.
