Abstract

A sliding door mounting apparatus comprises a support member 1, adapted for attachment to a sliding door, and latch means. The support member 1 includes an aperture 2 (see figure 2) with a first portion dimensioned to allow a head 4 of a sliding door trolley connection member 200 to pass through. A second portion of the aperture 2 is dimensioned such that it can accommodate a neck portion 6 of the connection member 200, but does not allow the head 4 to pass through. This provides engagement between the support member 1 and connection member 200 when the neck 6 of the connection member 200 is accommodated in the second portion of the aperture 2. The latch means is adapted to retain the neck 6 in the second portion. A method of mounting a sliding door to a sliding door trolley connection member is also disclosed.
