Abstract

An amusement ride including: a rigid member at least partially supported from at least one support structure, the rigid member extending between a high end and a low end, at least one rider support carrier arranged to hold at least one rider, the rider support carrier including attachment means arranged to slidingly engage with the rigid member to enable the rider support carrier to descend the rigid member carrying the rider from the high end to the low end, and a steerable swing at least partially supported from the at least one support structure.
