Abstract

Katalysator for polymerisasjon av olefiner omfattende produktet oppnådd ved å bringe i kontakt med hverandre: (A) en bro sammenknyttet og/eller substituert syklopentadienylforbindelse av titan, zirkonium eller hafnium, (B) en organometallisk aluminiumforbindelse med formel AKCHj-CR^-CRVR8),^',,*1,' hvor R4 er CLJO alkyl-, alkenyl- eller aryl- alkylgruppe, R5 er hydrogen eller C^,, alkyl-, alkenyl- eller arylalkylgruppe, R6 og R7 er C^ alkyl-, alkenyl-, aryl-, arylalkyl- eller alkylarylgruppe. R8 er hydrogen eller C^^ alkyl-, alkenyl-, aryl-, arylalkyl- eller alkylaryl- gruppe, R' er Cj.10 alkyl-, alkenyl- eller arylalkylgruppe, og et karbonatom i Al- forbindelsen over er eventuelt erstattet med et Si- eller Ge-atom, w er 1-3, z er O eller l, q = 3-w-z, og (C) vann. Molforholdet (B)/(C) er mellom 1:1 og 100:1. Disse katalysatorer viser for- bedret aktivitet i forhold til kjente katalysatorer hvor det anvendes for- skjellige aluminiumforbindelser.
