Abstract
Oppfinnelsen angår et pakke-radiosystem og en fremgangsmåte for å benytte SDMA for kanaletablering. Den spesielle kanalen (210) har et bitenergi/støy-forhold som er omkring 5 -12 dB bedre enn den normale kanalens (200).The invention relates to a packet radio system and a method for using SDMA for channel establishment. The packet radio system comprises a network portion (100), at least subscriber terminal (102), and a duplex radio connection (104) between the network portion (100) and a subscriber terminal (102). The duplex radio connection (104) is used for setting up connection and packet transmission. The invention is characterized in that for setting up a connection, the network part (100) and the subscriber terminal (102) are arranged forums to establish a special channel (210) with a considerably longer range than a normal channel (200) range. The special channel (210) has a bit energy / noise ratio that is about 5-12 dB better than that of the normal channel (200).
