Abstract
Katalysator omfattende 0,1-15 vekt% av ett eller flere edelmetaller valgt blant platina, palladium og iridium, og 2-40 vekt% mangan og/eller rhenium, båret på en sur bærer, hvor vektprosentene indikerer mengden metall av bærerens totalvekt. Anvendelse av katalysatoren ved en fremgangsmåte hvor et hydrokarbonråmateriale omfattende aromatiske forbindelser bringes i kontakt med katalysatoren ved forhøyet temperatur og trykk i nærvær av hydrogen.
