Abstract

Absorberende gjenstand, slik som en bleie, inneholdende lårmansjetter som er belagt med et lotionspreparat. Lotionene omhandlet i den foreliggende oppfinnelse minimaliserer slitasjen mellom mansjettene og huden i områder hvor mansjettene er i kontakt med bærerens hud, hvilket resulterer' i mindre hudirritasjon. Lotionspreparatene reduserer også hefteevnen til avføring til huden til bæreren, og gjør derved borttørking av avføring lettere. Lotions- preparatet omfatter et plastisk eller flytende polysiloksan- bløtgjøringsmiddel slik som fenylfunksjonelle polymetyl- siloksaner, et immobiliseringsmiddel slik som en fettalkohol eller parafinvoks for å immobilisere bløtgjøringsmiddelet på overflaten av bleie-lårmansjettene, og eventuelt en hydrofil surfaktant for å forbedre bearbeidbarheten og/eller stabiliteten til lotionspreparatene. Fordi polysiloksan- bløtgjøringsmiddelet er hovedsakelig immobilisert på overflaten av lårmansjetten behøves mindre lotion for å bibringe de ønskede terapeutiske eller beskyttende fordeler med lotionsbelegg.
