Abstract

Den foreliggende oppfinnelsen vedrører et telefonsystem, en sentral i et slikt telefonsystem og en fremgangsmåte for å sette opp en telefonsamtale mellom en datamaskin og en slik sentral. Datamaskinen omfatter en funksjon for å kunne bru- kes som en telefon. Tjenermaskinen mottar en tjenestefore- spørsel fra datamaskinen og sender et krav om en' nettverks- adresse til sentralen. En første nettverksforbindelsesenhet i sentralen mottar kravet, velger en første nettverksadres- se og returnerer nevnte adresse til tjenermaskinen. Tjener- maskinen videresender nevnte adresse til datamaskinen. En andre nettverksforbindelsesenhet setter opp en forbindelse med datamaskinen ved å bruke den første adressen og en 10 adresse til datamaskinen. På denne måten kan talesignalene bli utvekslet i en telefonforbindelse mellom en bruker av datamaskinen og et internlinje forbundet til sentralen.
