Abstract

En håndtak som er forbundet med en børstedel (2) av en tannbørste har to børstehoder (4, 5) som i tannbørstens lengderetning er anordnet bak hverandre. Hvert børstehode har en bustbærer (6) med bust som rager ut fra denne. De to børstehoder (4, 5) danner en vinkel med hverandre om en akse som forløper på Ivers av tannbørstens lengdeakse, idet de to børsteflater (8) er skråttstilt innbyrdes. På grunn av denne vinkel mellom de to børstehoder (4, 5) blir det oppnådd en god tilpasning til avrundingen av tanngarden. Videre blir adkomsten til tannmellomrommene og tannkjøttranden bedret. Med to bak hverandre anordnede børstehoder (4, 5) fås det en samlet børsteflate som kan sammenlignes med børsteflaten av vanlige tannbørster med et børstehode, som bærer et bustområde som i grunnriss er rektangulært.
