Den foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører humanisert kimært antistoffmolekyl for bruk som diagnostikum, omfattende tung og/eller lett kjede regioner av murint anti-ICAM-1 antistoff R6-5-D6 fra den variable region, som kan fremstilles ved hybridomet deponert ved A.T.C.C. med aksesjonsnummer HB 9580, og en IgGl human konstant region, hvor det nevnte kimære antistoff binder til ICAM-1 med en aviditet som er hoved- sakelig lik den av det murine R6-5-D6 antistoff. videre vedrører oppfinnelsen diagnostisk preparat omfattende et slikt humanisert kimært antistoffmolekyl.
