Abstract
Oppfinnelsen angår en fremgangsmåte for frem- stilling av jern(III)sulfat ved å danne en oppslem- ming som inneholder jern(II)sulfat og svovelsyre, hvor oppslemmingen inneholder toverdig jern i både oppløsningsfasen og den faste fasen, og ved oksidering av denne oppslemmingen for å danne en jern(III)sulfatoppslemming. Eventuelt størknes den oppnådde jern(III)sulfatoppslemmingen for å danne fast jern(III)sulfat. Det oppnådde jern(III)sulfatet kan, slik det da foreligger eller oppløst i vann, bli anvendt for behandlingen av avfallsvann eller for fremstilling av rent springvann.
