Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører elektrisk isolerende oljebaserte sammensetninger omfattende mineraloljer og oljeløselig syntetisk blokk-kopolymer av polystyren og syntetisk gummi med en molekylvekt fra 50.000-1.000.000. Oljekomponenten har fortrinnsvis et innhold av aromater på 5-30 vekt%. Forbindelsen har høy viskositet ved lav temperatur og er en tynn væske ved 40-80°C. Gassabsorpsjonskapasiteten til sammensetningen er høy og de er spesielt anvendelige som isolasjonskomponent i papirviklede kabler som høy- spenningskraftkabler for likestrøm (HVDC).
