Det blir brukt et foringselement (31, 32) med foringsspor (311. 321) for kabeltrådens kappe (1). Et knivblad (2) kan festes til foringselemenlene (31, 32). Skjæret (22) til dette knivbladet rager med sine ender ut over den begrensende bredden av foringssporet (311, 321) og holder kabeltrådens kappe i foringssporet.
