Det er beskrevet bruken av 4-oksa-l-azabicyklo-[3,2,0]-heptan-7-on-derivater av formel (I) eller et farmasøytisk akseptabelt salt derav som anti-. tumormidler.hvor R er: -OCOR, hvor R, er et hydrogenatom, en Calkyl-gruppe som kan være substituert med enten én eller to substituenter valgt sammen fra halogenatomer, hydroksy, karboksygrupper eller (3RS,5SR)-(4-oksa-l-azabicyklo-[3,2,0]-heptan-7-on-3-yl)-metyloksy-karbonyl, en.-alkenylgruppe som kan være substituert med karboksygrupper eller (3RS,5SR)-(-oksa-l-azabicyklo-[3,2,0]-heptan-7-on-3-yl)-metyl-oksykarbonyl, en C.-alkynylgruppe, en.cyklo-alkylgruppe som kan være substituert med en karbok-sygruppe eller fenylgruppe som kan ha én, to eller tre substituenter valgt fra gruppen omfattende en cyanogruppe, et halogenatom, karboksylgruppe, C-alkoksygruppe som kan være substituert med en kar-boksygruppe, C,.-alkylgruppe, aminogruppe eller hydroksygruppe; -ORhvor Rj er et hydrogenatom eller benzylgruppe som kan være substituert med én eller to C-alkok-sygrupper, -S(0)Rhvor Rj er en fenylgruppe eller en benzylgruppe som kan være substituert med en C-alkyl-gruppe, n er 0, 1 eller 2,. eller -CHOH.
