Abstract
For å oppnå et stabilt, nøyaktig tidsreferansesignal for styring og drift av et brønnloggingsinstrument (12) be- nyttes et temperaturisolert hus (14) som avgrenser et innvendig temperaturstyrt hulrom (16) for å oppta og beskytte en elektronisk tidsreferansekrets (10). En elektronisk tidskrets (10) slik som en krystall-oscillator, er plassert inne i hulrommet (16) og er elektronisk sett sta- bil innenfor et forutbestemt temperaturom- råde som eventuelt er noe høyere enn den høyeste omgivelsestemperatur som råder ned i borehullet. Et varme-element (18), en styringskrets (22) og en temperaturføler (24) er anbragt inne i hulrommet (16) for å holde tidskretsen (10) på en temperatur som ligger innenfor det forutbestemte temperaturområde. Et automatisk energisert kjøle-element (20) kan eventuelt også være plassert inne i hulrommet (16) for ytter- ligere temperaturstyring.
