Abstract

Foreliggende fremgangsmåte og anordning anvendes til å avkjøle kuttesonen for materialer som gjennomgår maskinerlng. I en prosess for avkjøling av kuttesonen for et materiale som maskineres, .blir et l gassform smørende og kjølende medium, behandlet i en. lonlsator i et korona-utladnlngsfelt, rettet mot kuttesonen med en hastighet som er lik eller større enn kuttehastigheten. Korona-utladnlngen frembringes ved å anvende en justerbar, stabilisert, elektrisk strøm som varierer med matehastigheten for nevnte smøremiddel/kjølemiddel i gassform. Anordningen for å utføre denne fremgangs- måte omfatter en ionisator (1) med et hus (7) som har en utløpsdyse (8) som er koblet ved hjelp av hoved- ledningen (9) til kilden (3) for nevnte smøre- middel/kjølemlddel i gassform, en korona-elektrode (2) som er montert innenfor huset (7) og en kraftkilde (4) som er elektrisk koblet til korona-elektroden (2) og er forsynt "med en regulator (5) som er koblet til hovedledningen (9) for levering av nevnte smøre- middel/kjølemiddel i gassform og en styrbar stabili- sator (6) for utgangsstrømmen som er innbefattet i effektkretsen for korona-elektroden (2).
